The concept of the online community in many ways mystifies me -because of the difference between generations. Here's why: When looking at the babyboomer generation, we have a set of people who still enjoy and crave the face-to-face interaction of the human community- then go to the generation that has been brought up with email, internet, and instant message communication - they are comfortable and easy with online communications and don't seem to miss the physical human touch - why is that? I would like to understand what community means - better.
